Materials and Tools:
- Cardstock paper - I love using 80 lb textured cardstock and foil gold
- Craft glue - I am using Bearly Arts
- Hot Glue and Glue Gun - I have a SureBonder
This project goes together quickly and I am loving making all these new Cricut Box SVG files. If you're looking for some other boxes check out my pineapple box SVG or my video game controller box. Both of these are also free to download!

Cricut Design Space Set Up
This box SVG is super easy to set up - all you need to do is resize and change any colors you want to. Keep in mind how wide your paper is. I maxed out my gold foil paper at 11 inches.
I cut all of my paper out using the Medium Cardstock setting in fast mode but this will depend on your blade and machine.
Assembly of the Lipstick Box
This box SVG is actually one of my fasted tutorials! If you watched the step by step video you will see it is under 10 minutes! The top and the bottom are assembled in the same way. First, organize the circles from smallest to biggest. The smallest and the second to largest will go to the bottom taller piece and the other two will go with the shorter top.
Next, assemble the top and bottom, you will roll the bottom into a cylinder and then attach with glue or hot glue on the edge. make sure to line up the flat edge.
Then, fold in on the flaps and add glue inside - place the smaller of the two circles inside.
Then add more glue (I used hot glue) on the outside and attach the larger circle on the outside. You are sandwiching the flaps between the two. Repeat for the top.
Once the top is assembled grab your band and attach with glue to the bottom (open part) of the lid.
Then attach the oval for decor.
The lipstick is going to be similar to the top and bottom. You will start by rolling it into a slanted cylinder.
Then insert the circle to the bottom (this is to help with the shape).
After you can attach the oval with the flaps to the top on the slant. Keep the flaps on the inside. I used hot glue to attach these.
The final step is to attach the lipstick part to the cylinder base. I did my best to center this and used hot glue to attach it down.
Now you have created a fun DIY box with your Cricut! This box is such a fun favor box or for the make up lover in your life. Don't forget to email me with any ideas you have for new boxes and 3D paper crafting projects!
