15+ FREE Cricut Writing Fonts for Pens
I found the fonts for you so that you can finally put your Cricut pens to use.
If you’re like me and don’t want to pay for Cricut Access (sorry I want to keep my $10 a month for more craft supplies) then you will find that writing fonts are limited… like basically zero within Cricut Design Space for free. The fonts I found work great with Cricut pens and are all FREE!
If you are looking for some FREE SVG files for your Cricut projects please don’t forget to check out some of my designs. I add new free SVG files every single week for you to use in your Cricut crafting projects!
Now DISCLAIMER: True monolined fonts are super hard to find, these fonts are mostly double lined but, when using a font, the lines are super close together so chances are you won’t even notice because typically you are writing small enough.
There are plenty of Cricut Access fonts that are true single lined writing fonts, however, if you are like me and don’t want to pay monthly for the fonts and files. Here are some free cursive and handwritten fonts to try out. I used a .4 Fine Point black pen to test all of these out and each was written in between .06 to 1 inch.
Remember to test what different pens will look like – a marker pen that has a 1.0mm style is going to look completely different from this .04 pen! Test and test again! You can even preview on Design Space before sending to your machine.
All of the fonts that are listed below come from DaFont – these are all free to download but please read the disclaimers that each font gives for their terms on personal vs commercial professional use.
