Are you looking for easy-to-make thank you cards that you can create right from home? Look no further! I’m excited to share eight unique thank you card SVG free downloads designed especially for Cricut & Silhouette users. Whether you’re crafting for personal projects or creating cards to give to friends and family, these simple yet stylish designs are perfect for any occasion.

Why Use SVG Files for Thank You Cards?
SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) files are ideal for Cricut and other cutting machines because they maintain crisp, clean lines no matter the size. These free SVG files are designed to work seamlessly with your Cricut Maker, Cricut Explore, and Cricut Joy as well as any of the Silhouette or Juliet squad. The designs include a card base, a score line for easy folding, and a fun design that stands out beautifully.

Materials Needed
Before getting started, gather these materials:
This post contains affiliate links, read my full disclosure here.
- Medium cardstock – 65-80 lb works best. I prefer textured card stock usually but that is a personal thing!
- Cricut cutting machine – Maker, Explore, or Joy. I actually used my Silhouette Cameo 5 for the foiling on one of the cards. Their foiling tool is elite!
- Scoring stylus or scoring wheel – depending on your machine.
How to Upload SVG Design Files in Cricut Design Space
The steps are similar for Silhouette Studio and Siser Leonardo
- Download the ZIP File: After signing up for my newsletter, you’ll receive a download link to the community vault and password. Download the file and extract it from the ZIP format.
- Open Cricut Design Space: Click on “New Project.”
- Upload the SVG File: Click “Upload,” then “Browse” to find your file. Select it and click.
- Ungroup the Card: Ungroup each card so the base is separated from the design.
- Adjust the Score Line: Select the line on the card design, then change the operation type from “Basic Cut” to “Score.”
- Attach the Score Line to the Card Base: Highlight both the score line and the card base, then click “Attach” to ensure the Cricut scores and cuts correctly

Foil Card

Foil Card: You can learn how to foil with your Silhouette machine here or you can opt to cut this out with Heat Transfer foil or adhesive foil to attach to your card base.
Pen Card

Pen Card: One of the cards has a very thin writing made to be used with pens. Simply change this to the pen setting and attach back to the card base. Find 15 of my favorite free writing fonts here.
Thanks Repeated

I have to admit something on this card. I attempted the “painters tape” trick and then “washi tape” and it did not work well for me. But the design I love and I hope you do too!
So Grateful

Thanks, Foil Paper

I didn’t use the foiling tool on either machine for this. I used a nice foil cardstock for this one!
Thanks Heart Cut Out

This is the easiest one to put together of the free SVG bundle!
Thank You Flowers

Thank You Retro

Try not to judge the tearing on this one too! I tried the painters tape on this one and man it was rough. But I love a retro vibe. Also, if you wonder why I don’t remake them, I don’t want to waste. I don’t sell these so I don’t want to use more than I need to.
Tips for Perfect Thank You Cards
- Use contrasting colors for the front of the card and the inside of the card for a professional look. Simply just cut out another base or create a new rectangle for inside.
- Try white layers behind bold typography to make your design pop.
- The contour tool in Cricut Design Space can help you customize your design if you want to remove certain elements.
- Make your own cards unique with different color papers, textures, and designs!
