Today, I’m excited to share a collection of free SVG files for creating custom koozies that are perfect for any occasion. Whether you’re planning a backyard BBQ or a relaxed family reunion, these koozie SVG designs are practical and add a fun and personalized element to your event. I prepared six fun designs for you to download for free today to make your own koozies – these are such a fun beginner-friendly craft project!

Custom koozies are the perfect way to elevate your event. These handy items keep your drinks cold while showcasing your unique style. They make excellent gifts for friends and family and are ideal for weddings, company events, and more.

Materials and Tools Needed

  • Blank Koozies – you can get these at your local craft store, dollar store, or Amazon here. 
  • Heat Tranfser Vinyl – this is recommended although you could use DTF or some sublimation depending on the koozie you by. 
  • An iron or a heat press – you will need this to add the HTV (iron on vinyl) to the koozie blank
  • A cutting machine – this is such a great project because you can use any of the Cricut machines from a Joy up to a Venture! If you prefer to use Silhouette machines, the files are in SVG format image, so you will need to convert if you don’t have Designer Edition of studio.  I suggest using a converting website or Inkscape.

Downloading Your Free SVG Files

Ready to start your custom koozie project? Here’s how to download your free SVG files:

  • Log in to the vault download page and find the design.
  • Click the download link. All six of the Koozie SVG files will be in one zip file for you. Unzip the file, and start crafting!
  • All of my SVG files come with a small business commercial use license for you.

How to Use Your New SVG Files

Once you have your designs downloaded, it’s time to start crafting:

  1. Prepare Your Materials: Gather your Cricut machine, blank koozies, and heat transfer vinyl (HTV). Ensure you have the correct color of HTV for your project.
  2. Start a New Project: Load the SVG file into Cricut Design Space. Size to Your koozie size. The standard koozie decal size is 3.25 inches wide by 3.5 high.
  3. Cutting the Design: Remember to mirror the image for HTV projects and place the shiny side down on your cutting mat. 
  4. Weed Your Design: After cutting, weed the excess vinyl.
  5. Applying with Heat Press: Preheat your heat press according to the HTV brand’s recommended temperature settings. Check if your HTV is a hot peel or cold peel and adjust your process accordingly. Press the HTV onto your koozie, then peel off the backing sheet.
  6. Repeat!
