Materials and Tools Needed
This project only requires two things (three if you count tweezers)!
- Cricut machine or Silhouette: Make sure your machine is in good working condition and connected to your computer.
- Cardstock: Choose a sturdy cardstock in the colors of your choice. I used an 80 lb weight and textured!
- Adhesive: I use craft glue from Bearly Arts
- Tweezers: I love my set from Hobby Captain

Cricut Design Space Set Up
This is a load up, resize and go file. Which I hope you are loving! The pail and the ball are separate so you can make a decent sized beach ball. It of course will matter on the size of your paper. I max mine out to a 12 x 12 cardstock and I kept the ball on the smaller side.
Assembly of the Beach SVG Files
Beach Pail Assembly
Step 1: Round the outside and fold in the flaps. Glue the two sides together to create a cylinder.
Step 2: Attach the bottom circle to the bottom tabs
Step 3: Attached the scalloped edge. Keep the holes above the cylinder.
Step 4: Attach the handle and don’t forget to slide on the shovel!
Beach Ball Assembly
I won’t put this into steps because it’s really just one step repeated. Start by creating the circle at the bottom and keep the tabs all facing the same way.
Work your way up the ball section by section with craft glue on the tabs
For the last section, use tweezers to help you hold the tabs in place.
