How to Use the Valentine Mazes

Download and Print:

Simply click on the provided download link for the Community Vault. You can print the mazes on either white cardstock for durability or regular printer paper if you prefer a lighter option. These mazes are sized to be 8.5 x 11 inches (letter paper) but you can adjust the sizes to whatever you would like! I suggest full-sized for an activity but adjusting down if you plan on using as a party favor or class card! To make them smaller, in my printer settings I just simply changed it to 4 per page!

I have also included PNG versions of these Valentine Mazes if you want to cut them with a cutting machine.

Cutting Out Your Mazes:

For a neat and professional look, use a paper cutter to cut out each maze card. This is especially useful if you plan to distribute them as non-candy Valentines to your childโ€™s classmates or as fun maze invitations to a Valentineโ€™s Day party. If you do not have a paper cutter, no worries, simply cut with scissors!

As mentioned above, there is a PNG version of the mazes so that you can cut on your cutting machine, i.e. Cricut or Silhouette.

Coloring and Customization:

Each maze doubles as a coloring page, allowing kids to fill in vibrant colors. This not only makes the activity more engaging but also lets children add their personal touch to their Valentine’s Day cards.

Gifting or Party Activities:

These maze worksheets are great as classroom use materials or can be given as maze Valentine cards. They’re also ideal for keeping the little ones entertained during a classroom party or providing a last-minute fun activity.

Non-Candy Valentines

Many parents are looking for healthier options for their kids. This is especially evident during holiday seasons like Valentine’s Day, where the emphasis is traditionally on candy and treats. Non-candy Valentines emerge as an excellent alternative, offering a way to celebrate without sugar, and going with the preferences of parents and educators who prioritize health and creativity.

Why Choose Non-Candy Valentines?

Allergies

Many children have dietary restrictions and allergies that make candy a risky proposition. Non-candy gifts like maze cards ensure that every child can participate in the fun. By opting for non-candy Valentines, you avoid excluding any children who might not be able to enjoy typical treats due to dietary limitations or health issues like diabetes.

Encourages Creativity

Unlike candy, which is consumed quickly and soon forgotten, non-candy Valentines can provide a source of engagement and creativity. Kids can color, solve, and even personalize their maze cards, which adds an educational twist to the fun.

Reduces Sugar Intake

Excessive sugar consumption is a concern for many parents, particularly on holidays known for sweets. Non-candy Valentines offer a joyful alternative that keeps the spirit of the day alive without contributing to sugar overload.

By opting for non-candy Valentines like these free printable maze cards, you provide a thoughtful, fun, and educational alternative that benefits children in many ways, making the holiday special and inclusive for everyone involved. This approach not only fosters a healthier celebration but also enriches the childrenโ€™s holiday experience with creativity and learning.
