We’ve made it to the final day of Christmas in July, and today’s project might just be my favorite. This mistletoe SVG is a quick and charming 3D paper craft you can make with your Cricut to add a little festive magic to your holiday décor. It’s easy, it’s adorable, and yes, you can download it completely free in my special Christmas in July vault.

- 65–85 lb cardstock (I used 85 lb)
- Cricut (any model)
- Cricut mat
- Glue (hot glue or craft glue both work)
- Optional: ribbon for hanging
Step-by-Step: How to Make the 3D Mistletoe
This DIY project is quick to cut and simple to assemble. Here’s how to do it:
Upload and Resize the SVG

Once you open the mistletoe SVG in Cricut Design Space, you’ll see all the design elements ready to go. If you want to scale it down, make sure your longest piece is around 6 inches. I sized the height to 12″ which adjusted everything proportionally.
Adjust the Score Lines
This is super important: you’ll need to ungroup portions of the design and change specific lines to “score” in Design Space. Don’t forget to attach the score lines to the base layer before cutting.
TIP: To save time, you can delete the extra berries and duplicate the one set that’s already scored and attached.
Cut and Prepare
I used the medium cardstock setting and everything cut beautifully. The crafting process really comes alive when you start folding and gluing the berries. I used 8 circles per berry for a full look, but you can use 6 if you want to speed things up.
Once all the berries are made, shape your leaves by gently bending them with your fingers or around a pencil. This adds realistic depth and texture to the final physical product.
Assemble the Mistletoe

Start with four leaves placed in a cross pattern. Alternate colors if you’re using multiple shades of green. Then fill in the gaps with another layer of leaves, continuing to build your design into a rounded shape.

Add berries wherever you want, on top of leaves, in the center, or even tucked underneath. Finally, finish it off with a bow or ribbon if you want to turn this into home décor that can be hung up!
